Seeking Part-Time BACB certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT/BHT-ABA 2)


Applicants must hold a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or meet IBHS qualifications for ‘Assistant Behavior Consultant (ABC-ABA)’


Hourly Billable Rate $22.00-$23.00 Depending on Experience, Training, Certification, and Demonstrated Competency in ABA

Additional Benefits
  • No evenings or weekend hours.  Client services are restricted to Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
  • Geographically coordinated client assignments-  Supervisors review client caseloads to attempt to limit travel time and increase capacity to serve clients.
  • Targeted client billable hours assigned based on employee’s consistent availability: from 25 - 30 hours per week with opportunities to pursue Full Time positions when they become available. Full-Time positions are currently available!

  • We provide a focus on Early Intervention through transition into Elementary School Programs; work with children primarily between 18 months and 8 years of age.

  • ABA Fieldwork Supervision opportunities available for those pursuing a higher level certification as a BCBA or BCaBA certificates.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Serve children in a variety of settings including our Lancaster Center, client homes, and client community settings such as preschool, daycare, and elementary schools during typical weekday business hours.
  • Consistently provide direct, one-to-one ABA Intervention to clients as is developed, trained, and supervised by assigned Masters Level Clinicians. 
  • Implement programming and follow a daily schedule specific to that individual client as trained and directed by supervising Master’s Level Clinician. 
  • Fully and effectively collect data to document client progress and services provided, obtains parent/caregiver signatures and other relevant documentation.
  • Participate in ABA Training and Supervision sessions required by IBHS regulations and provided by supervising Masters Level Clinicians.
  • Follow policies and procedures of Swank ESD, contractual guidelines and maintains HIPAA standards.
  • Engage in positive and professional interactions with other staff/professionals within and outside of the company.
  • Be fluent in ABA intervention for both managing problem behavior and shaping clients’ acquisition of new skills- generalize to implement with a variety of clients
  • Have the ability to discuss ABA, explaining clients’ programs and other intervention procedures in scientific terms
  • Have ability to train new team members on assigned clients programming or have others observe you in the implementation of programming
Minimum Qualifications
  • Required to hold and maintain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or meet IBHS qualifications for Assistant Behavior Consultant (ABC-ABA)
  • High school diploma or equivalence
  • One (1) year experience working with children
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and be able to move freely from floor to standing and back again
  • Provide three (3) positive professional references from current or previous employers, including at least one from a direct supervisor
  • Provide clear background clearances as required by the PA Dept. of Human Services
  • Clear TB Test - valid within 3 years
Other Preferred Qualifications (not required) which will be considered in starting hourly rate offer:
  • Previous experience working with children who have a behavioral health diagnosis (approx. 1 yr)
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Health Technician (BHT-ABA)
  • Hold Bachelor's degree in ABA or related field (ie psychology, social work, counseling, education etc.)
  • Have a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from a college or university
  • Have qualifications for licensure as a behavior specialist but lack additional IBHS required experience
  • Demonstrate moderate to advanced levels of competency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) during the interview process
